The Law of Lift (Part 3)

Join Rabbi Joel Liberman as he continues his message on The Law of Lift. How do we understand the relationships between the various biblical covenants? It's similar to the law of gravity which, is around us at all times, and is in effect, until a higher law - the Law of Lift - comes into effect.  The Law of Lift doesn't NULLIFY gravity, but instead, causes us to rise above the pull of gravity. 

As believers, we operate under a higher law - the Spirit - of which the New Covenant is a ministry of.

VI. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LAW AND SPIRIT

                 1. Messiah Yeshua fulfilled the letter of the Law and all its requirements and was then put to death

                    as the atonement for Israel bearing upon Himself the full penalty of the Law.

 

                 2. We too, by faith, die with Messiah and are thereby dead to the Law and its penalties -

                     Romans 7:1,2,4,5,6; Galatians 2:19-21

 

                 3. Messiah Yeshua was raised from the dead - resurrection, the law of lift; and we too rise with Him -

                     Romans 6:5,6a

 

                 4. We then receive Ruach Hakodesh and enter into and operate by a higher law - the law of the Spirit

                    of life in the Messiah Yeshua. We are instructed to not walk in the flesh by which the Toraic law would

                    operate against us; rather, we are to walk in the Spirit by which we fulfill the righteous requirement of

                    the law - Galatians 5:16-23
